Fresh hop black Pilsnah, brewed with hops cultivated at the Hallertau Riverhead hop garden at the source of the mighty waitamata. Often cited as Auckland’s finest hop growing area with a couple of -4 deg frosts every winter and baking hot summers. It is also thought the intense berry character is achieved through cross pollination with the abundant strawberry farms surrounding the hop garden
